PROJECT 360
Welocome to PROJECT 360. This is a project I came up with in the spring of 2024 and I have just now begun working on it. Project 360 is exactly what it sounds like. I want my team and I to capture all points of a tornado in 360 degree video. We will be using a few different devices to do so. One we have Tracker 1, which is our main chase vehicle. On the roof of tracker 1 we have mounted a 360 live streaming camara for Severe weather coverage on YouTube. Next, we have a Video probe that we will actually be attempting to put in the path of a tornado so we can capture 4k 360-degree video and some scientific data from the ground. Next, we will be acquiring a drone with 360-degree video camara mounted on the front. All this combined will provide the public with full coverage inside and outside of tornadoes, and will maybe provide a few lost ingredients that plays into tornado genesis.
TRACKER 1
Tracker 1 is a 2005 Pontiac grand prix that is used as my main chasing vehicle. On top of Tracker one you will find a Mesonet which helps us collect ground truth data from thunderstorms. This Mesonet also is home to the 360 live streaming camara

THE Tornado Video Probe ( TVP )
This is my proudest invention. This is the Tornado Video Probe. This probe is designed to collect 360 Video from the base of tornadoes, as well as collect important data such as wind speed, temperature, and Humidity readings
